  • Pelvic Health

Throughout the lifespan, it is common to experience issues relating to the pelvic organs and surrounding structures that result in pain, discomfort and dysfunction. Just because these things are common does not mean they are normal and something you need to put up with. During an Initial Pelvic Assessment, you can expect me to conduct a detailed interview to find out everything about your presenting issue and concerns and how they affect your life.

  • Prenatal Assessments

An appointment in which we address your exercise goals during pregnancy, assess your pelvic floor, ensure you’re feeling physically prepared for birth and manage any current aches, pain and discomfort. A one-stop shop for feeling your best during your pregnancy and perfect if you have more than one area of concern. Tailored to your needs and your current gestation.

  • Postnatal Assessments

Includes a debrief and detailed discussion of your birth history, assessment of the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. We’ll also discuss your goals for returning to exercise and develop a plan to get you there. These appointments are tailored to your needs and concerns.

  • Women’s Health Assessment

Assessment of one area of concern, excluding pelvic health presentations. Suitable for addressing aches and pains during pregnancy or postpartum (e.g. back pain, pelvic girdle pain, coccyx pain, carpel tunnel, dequervains). If you’d also like to discuss birth preparation or pelvic floor concerns, please book a prenatal assessment.

  • Mastitis & Blocked Ducts

Mastitis is a painful condition that affects many women during their breastfeeding journey. Inflammatory breast conditions develop and progress quickly, therefore prompt assessment and appropriate treatment is important.

In conjunction with Barossa Physiotherapy, we provide a 7 day service to assess and treat mastitis, because we know it can go from zero to one hundred very quickly.
